João Pedro, Oliveira Proyecto: Âphâr
‘Aphâr is an Hebrew word that means “dust”. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void. (Genesis 1) Jacob had a dream: He saw a stairway erected on the earth with its top reaching to the heavens. The angels of God were going up and coming down it and the Lord stood at its top. […] He said: Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth. (Genesis 28) tag: videoart |

Last, Lane Martin, TN, USA Proyecto: Languish by Light My current video works presented in this application are playful but still deliberate combinations of color, motion, sound, pattern and visual surface to produce an immersive experience or atmosphere for the audience whether they are large-scale gallery projections or screen-based works. I am particularly drawn to video as a medium because of the unfolding nature of the visual and audio material and the potential to repeat time or the experience. In essence the video signal is a wave. It is constant, changing cyclically and visually and taps into human rhythms especially when paired with audio. tag: videoart |

Milan Zulic Proyecto: The Circle of life “Circle of life” is my old grandma’s lace which I did unlaced, part by part, and each part of the lace scanned to make them, digitally in a moving line and make from it a new lace, but with a new technology. This is a story of my contact with my ancestors, and the circle of life of each of us. Music: Adrian Portia – "Two tribes" |
