International Videoart Festival Now&After has been carried out in Moscow since 2011. Now&After focuses on presentation, development and promotion both Russian and international video art, getting together emerging and established artists from around the world to present their works to general audience. Traditionally the festival takes place at museum's space, where during few weeks the festival program is being demonstrated as a multi-channel video installation.

Now&After was held at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, at the State Museum of Gulag History, at the Schusev State Museum of Architecture, at the State Darwin Museum and at CCI Fabrika. The festival is organized by non-profit organization Media Art Centre Now&After and collaborates with cultural organizations in Russia and abroad presenting its collections nationally and internationally.

Founding director/curator of International Video Art Festival Now&After is Marina Fomenko.

SCANNING A CITY: Curated by Marina Fomenko A modern city is more than just a thickly settled agglomeration of architectural and engineering structures. It is a metropolis, absorbing millions of inhabitants and a small town, where time glides. It is an urban landscape and the life of society around us. It is loneliness in a crowd and togetherness of different. City is a natural habitat of a modern man and above all "a set of places of universal communication" (airports, subways, large supermarkets), where, according to Baudrillard, "people are deprived of their citizenship, nationality, their territory".
